Auction Software

Auction software can be used by both for profit and not-for-profit (NFP) organizations. It helps to register bidders, place their bids, helps in check out process, and administrative services such as allowing printing of receipts long after the auction is over (handy during tax filing).  

Options available for auction software are plenty: host the software or have it cloud based (saves cost on IT infrastructure). For charity events,  physical presence not required as bidders can bid online, different pricing options like reserve pricing (a minimum rate to place the bid) or fixed pricing, time controlled bidding (for NFP bidding closes when the event is over; for profit like eBay has 24 hours timing) available. Other features could include auto-bid, inventory management and managing appearance of the items listed.
